For a long time I've been fascinated with Japanese writing. It is such a beautiful art.
This tiny wooden box was given to me by a former co-worker years ago. If you open it up the word "wisdom" is carved inside. After a little research I found that this is indeed the Japanese symbol for wisdom. I like running a finger along the grooves and feeling where it was carved. Sometimes the most simple things are miraculous, as Mr. Emerson said. :)
