Here's another photo from my last vacation, September of 2010 . . . taken at Jackson Falls in New Hampshire.

I plan on doing some shooting in Boston next weekend, so hopefully there will be some new photos coming soon. :)

This was taken at the end of September of 2009, while on a trip in the White Mountains (NH). I'm still not actively taking photos, but have many many shots in my archives I may share from time to time.

This was taken at last year's HONK! Festival Parade. I took lots of pictures, but only posted a couple on my flickr photostream.
The parade this year is tomorrow, Sunday, October 2nd. I am not planning on attending this year, but am looking forward to seeing my friends' photos from the event.

Making a Movie

Yesterday I happened to have my camera while a movie was being filmed down the street. So on my lunch hour I went down to see what I could see, and I was able to catch actors Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges film a scene. They are in the car . . . I know it's not a great shot, but I like the scene nonetheless.

By the way, I'm sorry for the long period between posts. All is well -- I've just been doing lots of other things like bike riding, singing and taking an Advanced Reiki class. I also just signed up to take a four week self defense course. So I've been busy! :)

Found at the Memorial Garden in Boston's North End. My thoughts and prayers are with all lost 10 years ago today, and also those who have lost their lives fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As I was passing through the Boston Public Garden a few weeks ago, I noticed this young artist refilling in the names on the 9/11 Memorial. Tomorrow on the 10th Anniversary, there will be a wreath laying ceremony here. My heart grieves for all of the lives lost, and for the people left who are still affected deeply by this tragedy.

Here's a closeup of some of the hanging dog tags in this amazing Memorial Garden, which is just outside Old North Church in Boston. The Memorial Garden honors "the men and women in the Armed Forces and the civilians who have lost their lives in the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars."
